These terms cover your use of AStoryFinder. By creating an account you agree to them.

What we do

Our AI research team looks for records about your family online, in archives and through the relatives you name, and reports what it can prove, with a source for every fact. Our researchers are AI assistants, not people, and say so in every message and call.

No promised result

Records may be lost, closed or never made. We can't promise to find a particular person or fact. A finished report always shows what was searched, what was found and what was ruled out, even when a line ends.

Price and payment

The first look is free. Paid plans cost the price shown when you confirm the plan (One family line $149, Whole family $399). Nothing is charged until your report is ready. Archive fees (copies, archive searches, on-site reading) are added at cost, only when a line needs them, and never above the limit you set. During the pilot, card booking is not yet open; we will ask for payment details before a paid report is delivered.

Your part

Share only information you are entitled to share. Tell relatives before we contact them. Some records can be requested only by a relative and need your signature; we will ask when that happens.

Fair use

Don't use the service to find, track or harass living people, or for anything unlawful. We may stop a case that does.

Liability

We work carefully, but historical records contain mistakes, and so can research. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the case.

Ending

You can stop a case or close your account at any time by telling us in your chat. You pay only for a report already delivered.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without taking away rights that the consumer law of your own country gives you.
